This thesis investigates the impact of infrastructure on the growth of logistics within the military, employing a theory-building approach combined with qualitative analysis through interviews. The study aims to validate a theoretical model by examining how physical factors, specifically organization, personnel, material and infrastructure contribute to the development of military logistics. The findings highlight the critical role of these physical factors, with particular emphasis on infrastructure as a key enabler of logistical growth. Moreover, the study underscores the necessity of integrating a theoretical framework tailored to the Swedish military context to support logistical expansion. By exploring the interplay of these physical components, the research enhances our understanding of the challenges involved in achieving growth in military logistics and identifies directions for future studies, particularly in relation to infrastructure development and its multifaceted implementation.
