This thesis examines the factors impacting logistical sustainability within Swedish defense logistics, filling a notable gap in existing research. Through qualitative analysis involving interviews and focus groups with Swedish Armed Forces personnel, it assesses the influences of forecasting, information and support systems, and civil-military integration on sustaining logistical operations. The study highlights the critical role of theoretical frameworks adapted to the Swedish context, contributing to both academic and practical understanding of defense logistics. Key findings emphasize the necessity for enhanced forecasting tools and integrated civil-military efforts to improve sustainability. This research suggests insights for future studies and strategic implementations in military logistics, offering implications for both military preparedness and operational efficiency.
