To achieve success in warfare, adaptation to situational demands is essential. However, despite this imperative, military organizations often show limited receptivity to military innovation. While this topic has been extensively explored at the organizational level, the individual perspective within the research domain has been neglected. Seeking to enrich this understanding, this study employs a survey-based approach and multi linear regression analysis to examine how officers' levels of trust in a specific military innovation - AI decision support systems - influence their receptivity. The findings reveal a statistically significant association between officers' limited trust and their reduced receptivity to the innovation, particularly concerning limited risk acceptance during high risk and uncertainty. Thus, this finding suggests that certain sides of trust ought to be considered for military organizations in the creation and implementation of military innovation.
